Our family reunion in Island Park

This is our family but we were missing

Cam and Danielle (my brother and wife)

We took pictures for nearly two hours!!! We took individual

family shots of everybody there!

It is hard to imagine, but this is only half of my family...

We snuck away and went for a boat ride!

This is Dave skiing...

and this is Madeline and I on the boat!

Island Park 2

This is my grandma and grandpa Palmer!

They own the property in Island Park, where we stayed!
We now have 102 people on the Palmer side!!! 67 were there total for this "reunion"

My cousin Kristen took this picture of MAdeline and me.

This is Dave fishing... way too early in the morning for me! My dad went with the boys just to take the pictures!
(Now you all know where I get it from! :)

I took this the evening of the 4th of July! We actually created the dust from driving on the road and that is what made this picture so cool...

The Arts Festival

We went to the Arts Festival downtown and had a blast looking
at all the local talent! I loved the photography booths!
Maybe someday I can sell prints like those :)
Anyway, here are our sweet little girls!
Sadie, Madeline, and Eliza

And their parents!

I thought the boys looked so cute just hanging out on the curb

Truly, I am sure that we don't have enough pictures of Dave and me!!!

Tim McGraw Concert!!!

Dave and I are both in lOvE with Tim McGraw's music ( and he's pretty cute too! :)
Anyway, we didn't get tickets but really wanted to go, so...
The day of the concert we left about an hour before the concert and found tickets from a
scalper just outside of the Usana Amphitheater. They just happened
to be on the FIFTH ROW!!! Yes, we did splurge a little~ but it was SO worth it!!!

This is my Tim McGraw!

This is us on the fifth row (did I mention that already?!?!?!)
We sat just to the left of the center stage!

Honestly, he is a hunk! AND the concert was amazing!

Fun summer activities

So we signed Madeline up for swimming lessons with some of our friends!
It is through Liz Walker's SwimKids program. We all get in the pool and have a parent-tot lesson for 30 minutes!
(Cami Shipp, Molly Pearce, Sarah Gardner, Kristen Anderson and myself)

I have loved watching Madeline get more comfortable in the pool! We play circle games in the water and they will eventually learn to turn onto their backs if they ever fell in the water unattended... it is a survival skill that I cannot believe babies can learn! They actually had it on the news a month ago~!

Madeline now can go under water and hold her breath! I love it!

My mom and sister bought her this piano before she was born. They thought it was fitting for Madeline to have her own piano! She loves it!

Actually, I do have a cool story about the piano. About 2 months ago, Madeline was acting a little different. She was more fussy, and would cry the saddest cry ever. She was getting up in the middle of the night, and not eating... Of course this all happened while Dave was out of town. So finally on Sunday, (this had started around Friday) I figured that something was probably wrong... (I know all of you moms are reading saying~ duh! EAR INFECTION... I know, I know.) Anyway the only thing that would calm her down was when I sat down to the piano with her in my lap and played for her! Instantly she calmed down!!! That was a complete reward for practicing hours and hours a day while I was pregnant! I had always hoped that she could hear me playing the piano while she was in my tummy, and I think that day I realized she could!

It turns out that both of her ears were infected! Ouch!
