California 2009

We have just spent the last week on a Palmer family vacation to California! It was so much fun! We ventured to Disneyland and had a blast! I will be posting some more images from our trip!

My Piano Girl

Madeline will play for 30 minutes straight all by herself on the piano.
(Well, almost all by herself... Maggy is usually right by her side!)

I don't know how to get these pictures in the right order... the ones at the bottom are supposed to be first. Anyway, we bought Madeline a new kitchen because she didn't have any "big girl" toys to explore... anyway, she loved the kitchen... that is until she found the BOX!!!!

Yes, a new post, finally

For any of you that have hopelessly clicked on my blog to see if it has been updated and found that I haven't changed a thing for 5 months.... I am so sorry! :) What I thought might be fun is for me to show a few of my favorite photos from these past months!
So, without further adue.... (how do you spell that anyway?!)

The picture above shows Madeline coloring in our "special spot." We always color in the hallway, because that is where we store the crayons... and we always tape the paper to the floor so she doesn't color on the wood. Funny huh?

Don't you love when your kids watch you do things and try to do the same things later?!?!?!?
I love to watch Madeline mimic my daily chores.

These are my darling piano students. We had a Valentine's Day group piano lesson and
at the end we decorated cookies!

My sweet friend Molly had a Valentine's day Tea Party! It was so much fun!!!

I am not quite sure where she got it from?! :)

This was at the studio. I don't remember what even compelled me to take her picture.
However, I love it because it was just her at the time... blankey, binkie and all.

Dave's group "The Crimson 4" were asked to sing at the opening of the legislature at the Capitol!!!
It was soooo amazing!
They sang "The Star Spangled Banner," "Prayer of the Children," "Utah Man," and "The Battle Hymn of the Republic."
What an honor!

Dave's Birthday! January 2009

Dave is officially 31!!!
I feel like we just celebrated a birthday!
Actually, Dave's birthday celebrations lasted almost a whole week!!!
We had dinner with his family on a Monday.
Dave's birthday was on Wednesday, we went to Braza Grill for lunch! Yum!
and Saturday we went to Cafe Rio with our friends, who are
visiting from Brazil (Todd and Becky Smith and kids!) for lunch...
Then for dinner we went to Ruth'sChris Steakhouse and came home
to a dessert party at our house that night with everyone!
Boy! He's spoiled!!! :)

He had such good helpers to blow out his candles!

Okay, so this is not from Dave's party...
we went to watch Ricky (the bass in Crimson 4-Dave's group)
who was the scarecrow in Wizard of Oz at
Roger's Memorial Theater.
