Internship at Busath

I have had the opportunity to be an assistant at Busath Studio and Gardens! I love it!!! There are so many fun people there and I LOVE watching the photographers! It has been really busy trying to arrange babysitters for Madeline (namely our mothers... thank you again and again!) but it is truly something I have wanted to do for a long time!

Dave Labrum, one of Busath's finest photographers, :) actually shot a few pictures of Madeline and me so I thought I might post one or two!

The Presidential Departure (Part II)

This is us on the south lawn of the White House awaiting the President's
Departure

The wind from the helicopter was soooo powerful!

Mike took this shot! I think it is cool!

Dave and Mike went fishing Saturday morning on the Potomac River

Our wonderful hosts! Thanks guys!
It rained the day we were coming home so we
drove through the park to see all of the blossoms!

Tour of the White House

Mike was able to arrange for us to take a tour of the west wing of the White House,
something only done if you know somebody who works there...
And here she is!!! Isn't she beautiful! This is our new friend Rebecca!
She also arranged for us to see a "Presidential Departure"
(pictures still coming...)

We really wore these girls out!

Washington D.C. (Part II)

Okay, so Mike and Liz are the BeSt hosts! They even let

us sleep in their bed!

Lizzy and I (and Madeline, who is asleep on the bed) hung out

while the boys played Wii all night!

I think they are playing "table tennis" right here.

This is the view from Mike's office! Pretty remarkable!

Our trip to Washington D.C. (Part I)

We were fortunate to stay with the Nelsons in their beautiful apartment on the
Hill. (This is just a picture of one of the streets we walked down)
We took walks in the neighborhoods, went to some cool restaurants and
had the opportunity to see some pretty amazing things!

This is Dave and Madeline inside the Capitol Building

The architecture was amazing. This was my first time seeing the inside.

First time in the Bumbo

I just realized that it has been nearly a month
since I had posted anything!!!!
Well, one of the contributing factors is because we
had a computer disaster while installing a new operating
system (Vista) resulting in a complete
loss of all of my programs.
I haven't even wanted to get near this computer
because I have had to start all over! Luckily, we back
up our pictures to an external hard drive!!!

This was Madeline's first time in the Bumbo seat! I was so excited that
she could finally hold her head up in it for longer than five seconds
so I decided to document by... WHAT ELSE.... taking pictures!!!
One thing led to another, and she ended up topless (ha ha)

Then, I took it a step further and
started playing on PhotoShop! I am such a nerd!
