The Day!

We arrived at the hospital at about 2:00am.
I was dilated to an 8 and 100% effaced.

As the nurses checked me they discovered that our little baby
had flipped and was now bum first.
Because I was moving along so quickly, the doctor told us that
we needed to do an emergency c-section.

Luckily everything was fine with the baby, but in the process of
delivering her I had some pretty scary complications.
Everything turned out fine!

So, here she is our little Madeline!
